Veterans and active duty military are an important part of New Mexico as well as the nation it serves. According to New Mexico Department of Workforce solutions nearly 152,055 veterans lived in the state in 2014. Of that, 91.3% were male and 8.7% female who have served. Understanding that there is a large amount of uncertainty during these times, please use this list of resources as an extra hand in receiving help.
- The VA is allowing for veterans with disability who meet criteria to get aid. You do not need to be a DAV member to apply to receive benefits.
- Board of Veterans is helping expedite the process of their Docket if they have been diagnosed with COVID-19
- USAA members will receive financial assistance during these times.
- Those who are military families can access themilitaryfamily.org for help, resources and more in these times.
